SBI Mutual Fund today launched SBI Equity Opportunities Fund — Series II, a 36-month close-ended equity scheme.
The scheme aims to provide long term capital growth by investing in a well-diversified portfolio of equity and equity related securities across market capitalisation and sectors, SBI MF said in a statement.
“Flexible investment mandate is well placed to take advantage of the emerging opportunities in equity markets,” SBI MF MD & CEO, Dinesh Khara said.
The scheme may also use various derivative and hedging products from time to time for hedging and rebalancing purposes and aims to generate capital appreciation from a diversified portfolio of equity and equity related instruments, the fund house said.
