The wholesale gur (jaggery) market finished on a quiet note in national capital today as prices continued to moved in a narrow range in the absence of any worthwhile factor and settled at previous levels.
Market analysts said scattered demand against adequate stocks position mainly kept gur prices steady.
Following are the quotations in Rs per quintal:
Chakku 2,700-2,800, pedi 2,900-3,000, Dhayya 3,100-3,200 and Shakkar 3,100-3,200.
Muzaffarnagar: Raskat 2,200-2,300, chakku 2,350-2,525 and Khurpa N.T.
Muradnagar: Pedi 2,700-2,750 and Dhaya N\A.
