Prices of moong dal went down, while sugar went up in the wholesale foodgrains market here today.
Moong dal declined by Rs 400 to Rs 6,000 per quintal from its previous close of Rs 6,400.
However, sugar edged up by Rs 20 per quintal to Rs 2,700 from Rs 2,680.
Tur dal, urad dal, gram dal, wheat, maida and sooji rates remained unaltered.
The following are the wholesale rates of various agri-commodities today (in rupees per quintal, except where stated otherwise): tur dal Rs 5,600, urad dal Rs 6,200, moong dal Rs 6,000, gram dal Rs 3,050, sugar Rs 2,700, wheat Rs 1,700, maida (90 kg) Rs 1,600 and sooji (90 kg) Rs 1,750.
