Pepper prices ruled steady on Monday on slow activity. No activities were reported from the national exchange while some day trading took place on the IPSTA platform. On the spot, 16 tonnes of pepper from the High Ranges, Rajkumari and re-processors were sold. High Range pepper was traded at ₹735 and Rajkumari at ₹740 a kg. Semiprocessed from resellers was traded at ₹730. Spot prices remained unchanged at ₹71,500 (ungarbled) and ₹74,500 (garbled) a quintal. Export prices were at $12,700 (cf) for Europe and $12,950 a tonne (cf) a tonne for the US.
