Refined soya oil slips on subdued demand

PTI New Delhi | Updated on June 27, 2011

In restricted activity, refined soya oil prices declined by Rs 3.15 to Rs 635 per 10 kg in futures trade today as speculators reduced their positions on the back of subdued demand in the spot market.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in July declined by Rs 3.15 or 0.49 per cent to Rs 635 per 10 kg, with an open interest of a single lot.

Market analysts said subdued demand against adequate stocks position mainly led to the decline in refined soya oil futures prices.
