Physical rubber prices finished unchanged on Saturday. The weekend session was almost inactive and lost its direction as it was holiday for domestic and international futures. The volumes were dull.
Sheet rubber closed flat at Rs 239 a kg amidst scattered transactions. The grade slipped to Rs. 239.50 (240) a kg both at Kottayam and Kochi, according to the Rubber Board. The National Multi Commodity Exchange was closed on account of Mahavir Jayanti .
Spot rubber rates (Rs/kg) were: RSS-4: 239 (239); RSS-5: 236 (236); Ungraded: 232 (232); ISNR 20: 235 (235) and Latex 60%: 143 (143).
