Prices of tur dal moved up, but rates for other commodities ruled steady in the wholesale foodgrains market here today.
Prices of tur dal rose by Rs 200 to Rs 6,600 a quintal from yesterday’s rate of Rs 6,400.
In contrast, urad dal, moong dal, gram dal, sugar, wheat, maida and sooji prices remained unaltered from yesterday’s levels.
The following are the wholesale rates for various agri-commodities here today (in Rs per quintal, except where specified otherwise): tur dal Rs 6,600, urad dal Rs 6,600, moong dal Rs 6,900, gram dal Rs 2,800, sugar Rs 2,700, wheat Rs 1,800, maida (90 kg) Rs 1,700 and sooji (90 kg) Rs 1,800.
