Groundnut oil gained on the back of fresh demand from stockists and brand makers. On the other hand, cotton oil ruled steady. Groundnut oil loose increased ₹5 to ₹ 710-715 for 10 kg. Jamnagar line telia gained ₹8 to ₹1,113-14 for 15 kg. Groundnut oil new tin was flat at ₹1,285-90/15 kg. About 15-20 tankers of groundnut oil were traded in Saurashtra’s mills against 7-8 tankers. Traders said that brands’ demand was good and with this raw material price also gained. Though, prices may not increase much in coming days as availability is higher due to bumper output. Price of groundnut was quoted at ₹600-671 for 20 kg in Rajkot. Washed cotton oil was ₹630-633/10 kg and cotton oil new tin was at ₹1,110-20/15 kg. About 60-70 tankers of cotton oil were traded here.
