Amid improved arrivals and weak demand, both mustard oil and seeds traded low in mandis across Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Gujarat with its price in Indore mandis being quoted at ₹880.
Given conducive climatic condition for sowing and hopes of rise in area, bearish sentiment will likely to continue, said a trader Kailash Agrawal. M ustard seeds also traded low with its prices in the physical market being quoted at ₹4,200 a quintal (down ₹100 from last week).
Raida ruled stable at ₹4,700. Plant deliveries for Jaipur line were also quoted lower at ₹5,315-20 (₹5,420-25) on sluggish demand in mustard oil.
