Notwithstanding weak global cues and physical demand, majority of oils in Indore mandis traded higher on apprehension of rise in import duty on soya oil with soya refined today rising to ₹692-95 for 10 kg, while soya solvent rose to ₹660-63 for 10 kg.
Palm oil too ruled higher at ₹662, while cotton oil ruled at ₹658-60. Groundnut oil traded low at ₹910-30. Mustard seeds were quoted higher at ₹4,600 a quintal, while raida ruled stable at ₹3,400.
Plant deliveries of mustard seeds were at ₹4,015-20 a quintal. Arrival of mustard seeds across the country today was recorded at 1.75 lakh bags.
