Spot rubber showed a mixed trend on Wednesday. RSS 4 was quoted steady at ₹108.50 a kg by traders. The grade weakened to ₹108.50 (₹109) and ₹105.50 (₹106) respectively, according to the Rubber Board and the dealers.
Meanwhile, ISNR 20 and Latex lost further on buyer resistance. December futures improved marginally to ₹106 (₹105.82), January to ₹106.10 (₹105.80) on the National Multi Commodity Exchange. RSS 3 (spot) weakened to ₹80.26 (₹80.93) at Bangkok. November futures closed at ¥135 (₹72.54) on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange. Spot rubber rates (₹/kg): RSS-4: 108.50 (108.50); RSS-5: 106 (106); Ungraded: 95 (95); ISNR 20: 89(90) and Latex (60% drc): 81 (81.50).
