Potato prices declined by Rs 4.80 to Rs 517.80 per quintal at the futures trading today on sluggish demand at the spot market against adequate supply.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, potato for June delivery declined by Rs 4.80 or 0.92 per cent to Rs 517.80 per quintal with a business turnover of 140 lots. Similarly, July contract shed Rs 3.90 or 0.86 per cent to Rs 471 per quintal in 59 lots.
