Slack demand at higher rate has arrested uptrend in pulse seeds and pulses in Indore mandis with masur (bold) on Friday declining to ₹5,750-5,800 a quintal, while masur (Madhya Pradesh) ruled at ₹5,500-5,600. According to Prakash Vora, a wholesale trader, bearish sentiment will likely to continue till fresh demand comes up from millers. Masur dal (medium) went for ₹6,550-6,750, masur dal (bold) ₹6,860-6,950.
Weak demand also dragged urad by ₹100 in the past two days with urad (bold) being quoted at ₹7,000-7,100, while urad (medium) ruled at ₹6,400-6,500. Urad dal (medium) was ₹8,250-8,350, urad dal (bold) ₹8,500-8,650, while urad (mongar) ruled at ₹9,200-9,700. Similarly, moong lost ₹200 in the past two-three days with moong (bold) at ₹7,800, while moong (medium) ruled at ₹7,500. Moong dal (medium) fetched ₹9,100-9,300, moong dal (bold) ₹9,400-9,500, while moong mongar ruled at ₹9,500-9,800.
