Uptrend continued in chana on weak arrival and strong buying support from stockists and traders with chana (kanta) rising to ₹4,350 a quintal, while chana (desi) ruled at ₹4,150 and Kabuli Bitki ruled at ₹4,000-4,100. Chana dal (average) was being quoted at ₹5,200-50 a quintal, chana dal (medium) ₹5,350-5,400, while chana dal (bold) rose to ₹5,600-5,800. Amid improved domestic and export demand, dollar chana also traded higher at ₹5,000-5,500. In container, dollar chana (42/44 count) was at ₹6,100-50; 44/46 count ₹5,900-50; 48/50 count ruled at ₹5,600-50; 58/60 count ₹5,100-50 while 60/62 count was quoted at ₹5,000-50.
