Edible oils prices were up tracking firm futures amid higher demand. Local refineries increased their rates over ₹5 per 10 kg tracking bullish futures. On the BCE, palmolein, soyabean and sunflower refined oil rose by ₹2, ₹5 and ₹5 each. Vikram global commodities quoted Malaysian super palmolein at ₹500. Liberty was quoting palmolein at ₹480, super palmolein ₹510, soyabean refined oil ₹643. Ruchi was quoting palmolein at ₹480, soyabean refined oil ₹640 and sunflower refined oil ₹745. Allana’s rates: palmolein ₹483, soya refined oil ₹643 and sunflower oil ₹745.
In Saurashtra-Rajkot, groundnut oil telia tin was flat at ₹1,450 and loose (10 kg) at ₹925 (920).
BCE spot rates (₹/10 kg): groundnut oil 950 (950), soya ref. oil 630(625), sunflower exp. ref. 685 (680), sunflower ref. 740 (735), rapeseed ref. oil 1,000 (1,005), rapeseed exp. ref. 970 (975), cottonseed ref. oil 585 (586) and palmolein 472 (470).
