Auto shares raced up the BSE on Wednesday morning. At 10.29 am Tata Motors was the top gainer, advancing 5.17 per cent at Rs 401.80. The share had closed the overnight session at Rs 382.05.
Bajaj Auto rode up 1.63 per cent at Rs 2,460.85 against Rs 2,421.35 at close on Tuesday.
Hindalco Industries jumped up 1.22 per cent at Rs 83.25. The share had finished the previous session at Rs 82.25.
M&M rolled up 1.18 per cent to trade at Rs 1,247.30 against Rs 1,232.80 at close yesterday.
Hero MotoCorp gained 1.06 per cent to trade at Rs 2,611.05 against Rs 2,583.75 at close overnight.
