Cipla surged over 3 per cent to lead the pack on the BSE on Wednesday morning. At 11.15 am the share was trading at Rs 608.75, up 3.14 per cent on its overnight close at Rs 590.20.
Hindustan Unilever gained 2.90 per cent to trade at Rs 858.75. The share had closed Tuesday’s session at Rs 834.55.
Tata Steel spiked up 2.02 per cent at Rs 300.40. The share had closed the overnight session at Rs 294.45.
Bharti Airtel dialled gains of 1.79 per cent at Rs 421.50 as against Rs 414.10 at close yesterday.
Dr Reddy’s Labs was the other pharma share in the limelight, spurting 1.59 per cent to trade at Rs 3,338.95. The share had closed the previous session at Rs 3,286.70.
