Coal India extended its morning rally to hold gains of 3.09 per cent near the close on Tuesday. At 3.05 pm it was quoting at Rs 420.95 against Rs 408.35 at close yesterday.
Lupin also made further gains to trade at Rs 1,887.5 against Rs 1,832.50 at close overnight. This was a gain of 3 per cent.
Sun Pharma edged up further to trade at Rs 875.1. This represented a gain of 3 per cent on its overnight close at Rs 849.65.
Tata Steel spiked up 2.49 per cent at Rs 303.05 against Rs 295.70 at close overnight.
Hindustan Unilever held firm to build gains of 1.81 per cent at Rs 916.30. The share had closed the previous session at Rs 900.05.
