Coal India rallied further to stay ahead of the pack on the BSE at the close on Tuesday. At 3.25 pm the share had spurted 3.81 per cent to quote at Rs 415 as against Rs 399.75 at close on Monday.
Cipla edged up higher to hold gains of 2.79 per cent at Rs 630.80 against Rs 613.65 at close last evening.
Larsen & Toubro was also a tad firmer on its morning gains. It was trading at Rs 1,765.25 against Rs 1,731.05 at close on Monday.
M&M, which unveiled its LCV Jeeto today, moved up 1.90 per cent to quote at Rs 1,333.50. The share had ended the previous session at Rs 1,308.65.
ITC sped up 1.43 per cent at Rs 314.75 as against Rs 310.30 at close overnight.
