A ₹50-crore order has lifted the stock of NHC Foods . The ₹10 face value stock jumped 4.5 per cent to ₹42.70. NHC Foods has bagged its largest order worth ₹50 crore from China’s Minh Phat Imexco, JSC & Cam Giagng and JSC, leading importers of food products. The order is for NHC’s Saaz range of spices, especially cumin. Saaz is the company’s high margin branded spices product line. This is in line with NHC’s vision of penetrating Asian markets. NHC Foods hopes to successfully send its first shipment worth ₹20 crore to China by the second quarter of the current fiscal.

Suzlon Energy’ s overseas arm Senvion has installed the first offshore turbines for the Nordsee Ost project off the German coast. Senvion, in a release, said the installation of all 48 turbines will be completed in 2014 while the project is likely to be commissioned by the spring of 2015. As part of the contract, Senvion is supplying all components for the wind turbines and the service platform cranes for the project, which on completion is expected to supply power to around three lakh households. Shares of Suzlon Energy ended down 2.47 per cent at ₹27.65 on the NSE.

HSIL Ltd has informed the exchanges that its greenfield plant for the manufacture of brass chrome plated faucets, having capacity of 2.5 million pieces a year, at Plot Kaharani, Bhiwadi (Rajasthan), commenced commercial production from July.
