Aarvee Denims & Exports has informed the exchanges that at the company's Vijay Farm unit in Narol, Ahmedabad, fire broke out on Monday, damaging fabric inspection and packing, garment washing, printing and laser departments. Due to the fire mishap, finished and stock in process of fabric stocks, plant & machineries, building, ceiling, electrical cables, wires, electronic components and others were damaged. The company is in the process of estimating the loss and investigating the cause of the fire. It has lodged an insurance claim. Shares of Aarvee Denims edged down 1.1 per cent at ₹46.45 on the NSE.
