Jindal Worldwide on Thursday informed the exchanges that a small fire accident has happened at its Narol (Ahmedabad) factory premises on May 30 due to leakage of chemicals. The company had suffered a ‘very small’ loss of stock and a detailed verification would be initiated, if required, it added.
Further, the loss/damage of the stock was duly insured. The fire incident has not affected the performance and operations of the company and it is functioning normally, it further said. Shares of Jindal Worldwide closed at ₹601.10, down 0.3 per cent on the NSE.
