Auto shares traded on a firm wicket on the bourses on Wednesday morning. At 10.49 am Tata Motors was the top gainer on the NSE as well, quoting at Rs 403.30. This represented a gain of 5.56 per cent on its overnight close at Rs 382.05.
M&M advanced 1.52 per cent to trade at Rs 1,251.65 against Rs 1,232.95 at close overnight.
Bajaj Auto rode up 1.48 per cent to quote at Rs 2,460.50 against Rs 2,424.55 at close yesterday.
YES Bank gained 1.15 per cent to trade at Rs 788.30 against Rs 779.30 at close on Tuesday.
Hindustan Unilever gained 1.14 per cent to quote at Rs 813.60 against Rs 804.45 at close previously.
