Marico gained as much as 6 per cent to its highest since November 11, 2014, in intra-day trade today.
At 12.15 pm, the shares were up 4.09 per cent or Rs 13.05 at Rs 331.80 on the NSE.
Dealers said hopes that OppenheimerFunds had finished selling stake in the company. OppenheimerFunds Inc and Sub-Accounts cut stake in the company to 1.84 per cent from 3.80 per cent on January 9.
