Suryalakshmi Cotton Mills on Wednesday said that due to strike by workers in their denim division near Ramtek, Nagpur, Maharashtra, production operations have been suspended. However, the company said in a notice to the exchanges that it is “confident of settling the issue at an early date”. Shares of Suryalakshmi Cotton slumped 4.65 per cent at ₹30.75 on the NSE.
