UltraTech Cement surged 2.68 per cent to emerge the top gainer on the NSE in the morning session on Wednesday. At 10.40 am the share was trading at Rs 3,222 against Rs 3,138 at close yesterday.
Zee Entertainment rode up 2.46 per cent to quote at Rs 383.70 against Rs 374.50 at close last evening.
Maruti Suzuki was on a firm wicket, notching up gains of 2.35 per cent at Rs 4,146. The share had closed yesterday’s session at Rs 4,050.65.
Wipro advanced 1.87 per cent to quote at Rs 576 against Rs 565.40 at close last evening.
ONGC gained 1.66 per cent to trade at Rs 294.50 against Rs 289.70 overnight.
