A proposal for infusion of Rs 352 crore by the Central Government into Bank of Maharashtra (BoM) was approved unanimously by shareholders at an Extraordinary General Meeting held here on Thursday.
The infusion will be in the form of equity shares on preferential allotment basis. The bank's share rose sharply before closing 7.61 per cent higher at Rs 58.65 on the BSE. — Our Bureau
