The Investment Business Management Centre (IBMC) group, specialising in financial services for non-resident Indians (NRIs), has opened its Malabar regional office here.
The group aims at providing professional financial services and support to NRIs to invest in Indian financial markets.
The fast increasing number of NRI customers from the Malabar region has prompted the company to open its regional office in Kozhikode, according to Mr Sajith Kumar, Chief Executive Officer of the group.
He said that the company would spread its services across the Malabar region by opening branches in Kannur, Kasaragod, Malappuram and other locations.
IBMC has obtained membership in Cochin Stock Exchange (CSE) and sub-broker licence from Cochin Stock Brokers Ltd. (CSBL), the fully owned subsidiary of CSE.
Mr Kumar said that apart from Kozhikode, the company was opening regional offices in Thrissur and Thiruvananthapuram.
Also to support, non-resident Keralites, it would start its operations in major cities in the country soon.
The group had also begun conducting weekly free awareness programmes on investment opportunities in India for NRIs in Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi, he said.
