The Banking Ombudsman, Kerala, Mr F. R. Joseph, addressed the executives of State Bank of Travancore at the bank's head office here on Friday last on various issues pertaining to customer grievances redressal.
A spokesman said here on Tuesday that Mr Joseph gave a detailed presentation on the Damodaran Committee Report on Customer Service, which is now placed in the public domain for response from banks.
The recommendations are intended to guide banks towards a more customer-centric approach keeping in view the tremendous changes in the industry in the last decade. Mr S. Balachandran, Managing Director in-charge, SBT, presided over the function.
