Manappuram Finance Ltd, the Thrissur-based gold financing company with a national presence, made a net profit of Rs 69.71 crore in the second quarter of the current financial year. This is up 32 per cent from the first quarter’s Rs 52.86 crore, but down from last financial year’s Q2 net profit of Rs 107.71 cr.
The company’s board has recommended an interim dividend of 45 paise per share of face value of Rs 2 each.
