State Bank of Mysore has embraced mobile banking and internet banking to serve its customers.

The bank, through this medium, has found an alternate delivery channel for the customers’ banking needs. This is just like having the bank in your pocket or at your house/office.

Mobile banking service of the bank offers simple, convenient, secure, anytime and anywhere banking on mobile phones using SMS/GPRS/WAP.

The service is available to all customers having an operative current/savings account. Customers will have to register for the service at any of the State Bank ATM or at the branch.

The main features of mobile banking service offered by State Bank of Mysore are: daily transaction limits for fund transfer to any bank account, utility bill/merchant payment. Mobile top-up will be Rs 50,000/customer with an overall limit of Rs 2.50 lakh/calendar month.

The service will be carrier-agnostic — all customers can avail the mobile banking service with the bank irrespective of the service provider for their mobiles.

Internet banking service can be availed by retail and corporate customers by a simple registration process at the customers’ home branch.

This service can be made use for fund transfer to any bank account, e-payment of State and Central Government taxes, online shopping and placing online request for issue of cheque book and demand drafts .

The bank’s retail customers can also create online fixed deposit and recurring deposit accounts.
