PM Modi recently conducted an extensive meeting on ways to boost toy manufacturing and added that the country’s focus would be to support the sector and create toys that ensure physical fitness and a holistic personality development.
“We must look at ways India’s civilisational greatness can be showcased through the toys that are made in our country. A vibrant toys sector will further our dream of an Aatmanirbhar Bharat,” he said in a tweet.
Recently, India’s Covid-19 tally crossed past the 30-lakh mark.
As of August 23rd morning, India’s Covid-19 caseload mounted to 30,44,940, while the death toll climbed to 56,706 with 912 fatalities being reported in the last 24-hours.
There are 7,07,668 active cases of coronavirus infection in the country, with 22,80,566 people have recuperated in the country so far pushing the recovery rate to 74.90 per cent.
India’s Covid-19 tally had crossed the 20-lakh mark on August 7.
