The Haryana Excise and Taxation Department has collected revenue of over Rs 13,615.06 crore up to December during the current financial year, which is 13.5 per cent more as compared to that of the corresponding period last financial year.
A sum of over Rs 11,995.88 crore was collected during the corresponding period last financial year, an official spokesman said here on Friday.
He said that collection of VAT up to December was Rs 9,146.69 crore which was 19.54 per cent more as compared with the corresponding period previous year.
