The Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India (ICWAI) is planning to set up centres of excellence at 10 places across the country, including Kolkata, New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore and Nagpur.
The institute opened a Centre of Excellence in Hyderabad on Sunday.
Mr M Gopalkrishnan, ICWAI president, said the role of a cost and management accountant was multi-dimensional.
