Mr S. Rethinavelu, Senior President of the Tamil Nadu Chamber of Commerce and Industry, has been nominated as a member of the newly-constituted Zonal Central Excise Advisory Committee for a period of two years.
The new committee is in place of the Regional Advisory Committees in the Commissionerates of Coimbatore, Madurai, Salem, Tiruchi and Tirunelveli and would be chaired by the Zonal Chief Commissioner of Central Excise, Coimbatore.
