The Paris Agreement on climate change will enter into force on Friday as enough countries have signed onto the landmark accord to bring it to the emissions threshold that will trigger its implementation. India, the world’s third largest emitter of greenhouse gases, had ratified the Paris climate agreement on Mahatma Gandhi’s birth anniversary on October 2, becoming the 62nd country to deposit its legal instrument of ratification for the climate pact and bringing the global pact “tantalisingly” close to entering into force.

The single-tier system of duty relaxation under the proposed Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) will be the central issue to be discussed at the meeting of trade ministers of 16 countries, including India and China, in the Philippines today. Under this system, the RCEP member countries will deliberate on finalising the maximum number of goods on which duties will either be eliminated or reduced drastically.

Xiaomi Redmi 4 is set to launch on November 4 in China, reveals a teaser posted by the company on Weibo. The smartphone in the teaser image is of Black colour variant with a metal unibody design and curved edges. Xiaomi Redmi 4 launch event will be live streamed by the company as well. According to leaks, Xioami will also unveil a cheaper variant of Redmi 4 called Redmi 4A at the launch event.

Volvo is all set to launch the S90 in India and the prices will be announced on November 4. The luxury sedan is the 2nd model based on Volvo’s SPA platform after the XC90 and it rivals the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, BMW 5 Series, Jaguar XF and Audi A6. The Swedish automaker will offer the car only in the 'Inscription’ variant that comes fully-loaded. On the outside, the car gets LED headlights along with the 'Thor’s Hammer’ daytime-running LEDs, a chrome front grille with 'floating-effect’ slats along with chrome highlights on the side and 18-inch alloy wheels. What's more is that it rides on Pirelli P Zero tyres that have been custom designed for the S90 (look for the 'VOL’ insignia on the sidewall).
