As normalcy returns to flood hit Kerala and parts of Kodagu district in Karnataka, tourism is picking up as tourists have started to travel to well-known places in these states.
To cater to tourists and to help local economy, Karnataka State Tourism Development Corporation (KSTDC) has also begun to operate buses and taxies. They have lunched the following tour packages:
- Munnar–Tekkadi–Allepi (back water) tour priced at ₹9,599 per person.
- Mysuru–Ooty–Doddabetta–Kodaikanal tour priced at ₹6999 per person.
- Madikeri–Bhagamandala–Talakaveri tour ₹2999 per person.
- Mysuru–Ooty–Doddabetta tour priced at ₹2999 per person.
KSTDC said all tours start from Yeshwanthapur and advance booking arrangements is made through KSTDC Booking Counters, KSRTC Avatar Portal and Red Bus Portal.
For bookings, tourists may contact the Yeshwanthpur Main Booking Centre and Counter at Kempegowda Bus Station of Bengaluru. Bookings can also be done through official agents of KSTDC. The public can also book online at www.kstdc.co.
