Media agency Mindshare, part of GroupM, has announced a restructuring, a press release said.
Amin Lakhani, who has been with the Group and Mindshare for 14 years, will now be President, Client Leadership, Mindshare India.
He will manage core client capabilities across all offices in the country.
He is responsible for further strengthening client relationships and driving client growth in a cross-media market.
Lakhani has played an instrumental role in ensuring team Fulcrum at Mindshare is recognised for best practices in value creation and innovation for Unilever.
Anita Kotwani, Leader, Mindshare West, has been promoted as Senior Vice-President, New Business, given Mindshare’s emphasis on growth through diversification. In addition to this, she will also drive the horizontality effort, and work closely with the larger marketing ecosystem.
As Lakhani transitions into his new role, Premjeet Sodhi will join Mindshare South Asia as Senior Vice-President, Mindshare Fulcrum, South Asia, in March. He is the Chief Operating Office at Initiative/ BPN, part of the IPG group, where he handles strategy and new business development for the company. He manages clients such as Amazon, Reckitt, Gionee, Kraft Heinz, Infoedge and Bajaj Auto.
