After pointing fingers at the Gujarat model of development, the Congress has now alleged that there is no democracy in Gujarat. Party leader and Commerce Minister Anand Sharma told reporters here on Wednesday the Gujarat Assembly had not met for more than 23 days a year since 2002. “Modi will not be present during the sessions. He has not participated in the question hour. He will delegate the questions that have to be answered by the Chief Minister to other ministers. He will not participate in the debate on even the vote-of-thanks to the Governor’s speech,” Sharma said, terming Modi an arrogant person.
