The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) has planned several initiatives for Odisha. It would set up a ‘Mining Skill Centre’ in Keonjhar district of Odisha, according to a CII statement.
The industry body has also decided to create investors’ forums in Odisha to boost industrial investment in the State.
CII is also considering creation of ‘forums’ for manufacturing, tourism, healthcare and agriculture in the State for focussed action.
It also launched a virtual Finance Facilitation Centre to connect State MSMEs with the available financial schemes offered by banks and financial institutions.
