Parry's Bio, the bio-products division of E.I.D.-Parry has entered the Andhra Pradesh market with its flagship brands Neemzal, ABDA, AVANA and SpreadMax.
At a function recently in Vijayawada, the company said it would target agro-inputs dealers to market their products. Baburaj, General Manager (Sales & Marketing), said the products were thoroughly proven in trials and research.
Parry’s Bio is focussed to help farmers produce profitable yield through safe and sustainable agricultural inputs.
It is one of the few companies in the world to have successfully extracted Azadirachtin, a key ingredient from neem seeds.
Manufacturing facility
The division has set up a state-of-the-art Azadirachtin manufacturing facility in Thyagavalli, Tamil Nadu, to produce Neemazal, an eco-friendly botanical biopesticide.
It is the world’s largest Azadirachtin extraction plant. It is registered by United States Environmental Protection Agency and marketed in 36 countries across the world.
A Neemazal variant in granular form, named Avana, is expected to be launched any time soon.
Envisaging active participation in the global green drive, new non-Azadirachtin, organic/green agri inputs are also being pursued for introduction in the near future, a company press release said.
