Godrej Security Solutions has introduced its range of security solutions in the Kerala market. The products included ultramodern safe, high-end video door phones, CCTV products etc.
Speaking to reporters, Meheronsh Pithawalla, Assistant Vice-President (Marketing), Godrej Security Solutions, said the company is targeting a sales growth of 60 per cent in Kerala in the home security segment. It operates through five distributors and is looking at expanding to 200 retail counters by the end of this year.
Quoting a recent survey conducted by the company, he said Kochi, the commercial capital of Kerala, has a very high awareness index with regard to environment among people and their interest towards securing their homes properly. However, the city scored very low on actual adoption.
