Mr K.A. Sengottaiyan, Minister for Revenue, Tamil Nadu Government, has been dropped from the Council of Ministers, according to an official press release.
Mr N.D. Venkatachalam, Member of Legislative Assembly from the Perundurai Constituency, will be appointed the Revenue Minister.
He will hold the portfolios of Revenue, District Revenue Establishment, Deputy Collectors, Weights and Measures, Debt Relief including legislation of money lending, chits and registration of companies.
A communication from the Raj Bhavan said the Governor has accepted the recommendations of the Chief Minister. Mr Venkatachalam will be sworn in as the Minister tomorrow at the Raj Bhavan.
