The Railways is introducing a special tri-weekly express train between Yeshvantpur and Miraj with effect from October 2.
The inaugural train (No.06518) will leave from Miraj at 11.30 a.m. and reach Belgaum at 1.42 p.m. and it is expected to reach Yesvantpur at 00.45 a.m.
The first regular service (train no. 06517) from Yeshwantpur will start from October 4 and run on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. The special service will leave Yeshwantpur at 8.40 p.m. and reach Miraj at 10.15 a.m. the next day.
Services from Miraj will start from October 5 and will run on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The train from Miraj will leave at 4.45 p.m. and reach Yeshwantpur at 6.10 a.m. the next day.
The last service from both ends is on June 30, 2013.
The special train will have total 15 coaches, consisting of one AC 2-tier coach, one AC 3-tier coach, seven second class sleeper coaches, four general second class coaches and two second class cum luggage-cum-brake vans.
