The Hyderabadis today enjoyed a pulsating experience of Infiniti Red Bull Racing and Formula One for the first time with David Coulthard and another biker showing their skills.
The 13-time Grand prix winner David Coulthard, who was at the wheel, made the Red Bull F1 Show run of Hyderabad an unforgettable event for those who had gathered to witness the event at Tank Bund on the Picturesque Husainsagar lake.
The ace racer drove the car across the Tank Bund stretch eight times around the lake and showed what the Infiniti Red Bull racing car can do, as he hit speeds of over 280 km per hour. Speaking about his second visit to India and driving the F1 car on Indian soil, David Coulthard, said, “The F1 fans of this country have always given me a warm welcome. It’s always a special feeling to drive a Formula One car for the thrill of the fans and it was incredible to take the car for a spin at such an iconic location.”
“The city and its enthusiasm is something I will remember long after I return home,” he said.
Aras Gibieza, a Lithuanian stunt biker provided some daredevil feats. Infiniti Red Bull racing is the four-time championship winning Formula One team. It had set a world record in 2011 by driving on the highest motorable road in Khardungla in Kashmir.
