The Controller of defence accounts, Chennai, has scheduled a defence pension adalat here in December this year. Issues pertaining to approval and distribution of pension of defence pension/family pension will be taken up the adalat, an official spokesman said here.
Those drawing defence/family pension would need to apply in writing on plain paper or in prescribed form (available at the district military welfare office) with copy of the discharge book, bank passbook, pension payment order (PPO) or corrigendum PPO to reach The Defence Pension Adalat Officer, Office of The Controller of Defence Accounts, No 618, Anna Salai, Teynampet, Chennai-600018 (Phone 044-24349980 Extension 161 and Fax 044-24348142 latest by September 30.
The date and venue for the adalat will be intimated in due course.
