Travelling in air-conditioned buses of Delhi Transport Corporation will get more expensive by about six per cent, according to an official release.
This follows the Government's decision to impose a service tax on 40 per cent revenue earned by AC buses of DTC.
About 3.5 lakh people travel in DTC everyday – including AC and non-AC segment, the release added.
