A fire occurred in a private nursing home in Mandya, triggering panic among patients and medical staff, but no casualty was reported, police said.
Flames were spotted from the second floor of the nursing Home. Immediately fire extinguishers were called for and the fire was put under control.
The wardrobe of nursing staff and electrical wires were completely gutted, police said.
