Amway Opportunity Foundation, the corporate social responsibility arm of Amway India, in association with National Association of the Blind, observed the 132nd Helen Keller Day here. They jointly organised a Braille writing competition at the office of the National Association of the Blind (NAB). Mr K. N. Satheesh, district collector, unveiled the portrait of Helen Keller at the function which was presided over by Mr S. Sukumaran, working president, NAB. Ms Deepa Sivadasan, manager, LIC of India, and Mr Anil G. Nair, operations manager-Thiruvananthapuram, Amway India, were present. Amway Opportunity Foundation has offered to pay up the annual premium for a group insurance policy covering 700 differently-abled people, a company spokesman said.
