Ashok Purohit has been elected Chairman of the Eastern India Regional Council of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). He took charge on January 19. Purohit is currently the Assistant Company Secretary of Emami Ltd and has previously been the vice-chairman of the Eastern India Regional Council of the ICSI.
